2. General

The protection of personal data matters to me. Personal data is processed exclusively within the scope of the applicable data protection laws (GDPR, German Federal Data Protection Act). This statement explains the nature, scope and purpose of that processing.

3. Server log files

When this website is accessed, the hosting provider automatically collects information in what are known as server log files (e.g. IP address, date and time, file requested, browser type). This data serves the technical provision and security of the site (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) and is not combined with other data sources.

4. Contact & inquiry form

When an inquiry is made by form, e-mail or Telegram, the data provided (e.g. name, e-mail address, message, selected options) is processed in order to handle that inquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). The form transmits the details by e-mail; data is stored only as far as handling the inquiry requires. It is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed.

5. Fonts, icons & embedded content

Fonts & icons — are served entirely locally from my own server. No transmission to third parties (in particular to Google Fonts) takes place at all.
Map section (OpenStreetMap) — on the inquiry page, a map is loaded only after an active click. Only then is the IP address transmitted to the OpenStreetMap Foundation. Without a click there is no transmission.
Telegram — only when the chat button is actively used; the privacy terms of Telegram then apply.

6. Usage statistics (first-party)

To measure reach (for instance how often an image is viewed), a statistic of my own is kept, running exclusively on my own server (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR — legitimate interest in designing the website to suit actual needs). What is stored is the image or album identifier, the point in time, and a shortened, anonymised IP address (the last segment is removed). No personal profiles are created, no data is passed to third parties and no third-party tracking cookies are set. Evaluation is purely aggregated.

7. Cookies

Only technically necessary session cookies are set (e.g. for login, registration and the administration area). Under § 25 (2) TDDDG these require no consent, which is why no cookie banner is needed. No third-party tracking or marketing cookies are used.

8. Your rights

You have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. A short message is enough to exercise these rights: info@nkdm.de.
