From 31 July to 2 August 2026, Eckernförde was all about pirates. Sunday brought the finale — from the pirate church service in the morning to the fireworks over the harbour head.

13:00 — Pirate show with the Drunken Shipmates, wooden bridge by the Luzifer
14:00 — Neptune baptism, OIC beach area
14:00 — Pirate show with the Nordic Piratenbrut, at the Gänsemarkt
14:30 — Weapons show, OIC beach area
15:15 — Pirate licence for children, Kornersfjord camp
16:30 — Pirate show with Captain Schwarzbart, wooden bridge by the Luzifer
21:30 — Pirate torch march, from the Alte Post to the harbour
22:30 — The pirates release the town again, harbour stage
