From 31 July to 2 August 2026, Eckernförde is all about pirates. The opening day on Friday brought market bustle along the harbour mile, music on the harbour stage and several pirate performances in the town centre.

14:00–17:00 — Live music: Santa & Drea Lee Duo, harbour stage
14:30–14:50 — Pirate show “Drunken Shipmates”, wooden bridge by the Luzifer
17:00–17:30 — Pirate beach raid, OIC beach area
18:00–18:30 — Attack on the town hall, Rathausmarkt
18:45–19:30 — Opening of the pirate village Kornersfjord
20:00–23:00 — Live show “Backdrop – die 80er Show”, harbour stage
